Starting at the historic Chinatown Gate, we visitited local favorites and hidden gems, tasting everything from traditional steamed dumplings to innovative new creations. The crawl included both classic pork and chive dumplings and exciting new twists like shrimp and watercress or even vegan-friendly options like mushroom and tofu. Each stop offered a new flavor experience, and each establishment shared the stories behind the dishes and restaurant, offering insights into the history and culture of Chinatown.
Along the way, we got to explore Chinatown’s vibrant streets, take in its unique art, and visit cultural landmarks, all while indulging in the irresistible world of dumplings. Sampling the variety of mouthwatering dumplings from some of Chinatown’s best spots was a perfect way to taste, explore, and celebrate the culinary delights of Boston’s Chinatown.
